Art Deco ‎is a design style that began in Paris in the 1920s and flourished internationally throughout the 1930s and into the World War II era. Jacques Adnet was a furniture designer best known for his Art Deco Modernist designs and as an icon of French Modernism. Regarded for his avant-garde designs, Adnet was one of the first to integrate metal and glass into the structure and decoration of furniture.
