The Alder Collection by Patricia Urquiola is Mater's first collection in biodegradable Matek™. Extensive testing and development have enabled us to use biodegradable plastic with our Matek technology, thus enabling the Matek to eventually decompose back into nature, while creating a unique, textural element in each design. In addition to being eco-conscious, the design is refined and sophisticated, yet refreshing and playful—a thoughtful balance that we've come to expect from Urquiola's work. The collection is suitable for indoor and outdoor use.
