The Ripamonti ottoman is a natural addition to Keiji Takeuchi’s armchair, which echoes its enveloping, soft and comfortable lines. Available as an accessory with a cushion for alternative seating, or with a dark oak or marble top to add functionality to the object as a low coffee table, it highlights the corner of the living room in which to sit and converse, drink a cup of coffee or browse a magazine. As the designer describes, “I really like sofas and armchairs from the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s that are voluminous and inviting, ones that even before trying them, you already know they’ll be exceedingly comfortable. I always wanted to have this kind of visual and instinctive interaction with products, especially furniture.”
