CB-39 Slat Bench

Craig Bassam and Scott Fellows, 2008

OVERVIEW

Infusing a soft humanistic character into this adaptive furniture essential, the BassamFellows Slat Bench was originally designed for a luxury hotel group. Conceived to meet the needs of a variety of environments, from highly trafficked commercial spaces to homes, the solid wood bench is a study in crafted simplicity and structural honesty. Solid wood beams form continuous lines; legs meld seamlessly into parallel slats spanning the bench’s generous length. The resulting effect is one of both gravitas and surprising levity. The BassamFellows slat bench, available with or without a cushion in two different sizes, exudes a slim, sophisticated profile with engineered strength.
