Ava is a collection of pure and minimalist design that interprets the best of the Scandinavian and Brazilian design traditions in a refreshing, contemporary way, consisting of an armchair, a screen, and low tables. Timeless, cross-sectional pieces, created to inhabit different places, distinguished by attention to detail and the elegance of processing solid timber, but also by comfort and ergonomics. The seating, coffee tables, and screen are all based on the careful assembly of components in ash wood with a walnut stain, while the Vienna straw components create a pleasing visual lightness and transparency, without compromising the high level of comfort. The designer explains: “Ava represents influences that reflect De Padova’s DNA in a fundamental way. The extreme simplicity of all the joints simultaneously accentuates the thin profile and the sturdiness of all the elements in the collection.”
