Poul Kjærholm, 1961

The PK91™ folding stool epitomizes Poul Kjærholm's ongoing adaption of historical furniture through a signature arsenal of design expressions. The source of inspiration for the PK91™ is an ancient Egyptian folding stool that dates back to circa 1500BC. The PK91™ is part of the permanent collection at the Röhsska Museum in Gothenborg, Sweden.
