Ivar Ålenius Björk (1905 – 1978) was a Swedish sculptor, known best for his bust portraits which can still be seen in the public spaces of many towns across Sweden. In the 1940s, he designed a series of brass candlesticks for manufacturer Ystad-Metall, now closed, who then sold the rights to Skultuna. The Lily was one of these products and has become a Scandinavian design classic, featured at vintage auctions and in design and lifestyle magazines around the world.
Skultuna is a Royal Warrant Holder by appointment to HM King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden.
