PRINCIPAL DINING CHAIR
Bodil Kjær
The Principal Dining Chair is one of those designs where virtually every aspect comes together in perfect harmony, creating a piece that is not only functional, but also an absolute joy to look at. Minimalist and elegant, the design’s versatility allows it to blend seamlessly into spaces of all trends and styles. Alongside its dining table counterpart, the Principal Dining Chair epitomizes Bodil Kjaer’s progressive, cosmopolitan outlook and modernistic design language, which feels just as relevant now as it did 60 years ago. With its circular seat, gently rounded backrest, and stylish upholstery, the Principal dining chair is truly something spectacular.
SQUARE XL SOFA
DePadova
The latest version of De Padova’s classic Square sofa, Square XL has been modified with new dimensions and a single cushion. Featuring geometric elements and clean, squared lines, Square XL is beautifully contemporary while retaining a subtle mid-century influence. The sofa’s edges are defined by distinctive seams, and the plush cushions offer extraordinary comfort. Available upholstered in fabric or leather, with legs available in metal or wood.
COFFEE TABLE
Aldo Bakker
With a shape that seems to reference a spiral staircase and a silhouette that creates a unique interplay between light and shadows, the Coffee Table is an entirely new idea for an occasional table. Designed by the inimitable Aldo Bakker, the Coffee Table requires a masterful understanding of metalwork, as the design consists of a single sheet of steel, cut so that it can be “rolled up” into a table in one smooth motion. This effortless and sculptural design becomes even more enchanting in its newest color variant—red—which has just arrived in our showroom for viewing.
POLLOCK TABLE
Dan Pollock
Dan Pollock’s tables are one-of-a-kind, hand-carved sculptures made from wooden stumps found in the forests of California. Pollock finds sources for wood that do not require a living tree to be cut down, and as he sands and smooths the wood, Pollock seeks to reveal each piece’s own gentle, aged lines, creating an original piece of art. Pollock has spent the past 31 years living on a fifteen-acre ranch located in the high desert near the San Bernardino National Forest, and is a woodsman turned artist whose first love has always been the forest and its tranquility which inspires his art.
RAIL BACK ARMCHAIR
Smilow Design
The contrast of gorgeous shearling upholstery against the natural walnut frame of the Railback Armchair creates a beautiful, earthy contrast, both visually and texturally. The chair’s signature caged back establishes this design as something enticing and unique, adding depth and an exciting new dimension to this timeless armchair. Designed by iconic New York furniture designer, Mel Smilow, Railback’s mid-century appeal feels just as relevant today as it did in 1950 when it was originally conceived, reminding us why we refer to Smilow designs as “enduring modern classics.”
