It’s natural for us to evolve at Suite NY. We are happy to unveil our newest wave of European arrivals. This week we preview five of our newest selections currently showcased in our Park Avenue showroom. Come see what’s new!
Angelo Mangiarotti, 1987
Linear excellence. Designed by Angelo Mangiarotti, the Loico features architectural elements and generous dimensions. A modular stone library derived from a composition of weight-bearing elements. White Carrara Marble columns, can stack up to two for added height. Shelves available in white Carrara marble, grey Carnic marble, black Marquina marble, green Alpi marble, or dark Emperador marble.
TAF Gabriella Gustafson & Mattias Stahlbom, 2017
The Bleck collection by Studio TAF—inspired by the wooden frames that art canvases are stretched on. The Bleck is modestly sized for the sake of simplicity and accessibility, a design with a sense of space. Suiting residential and public spaces alike, this collection includes an easy chair, a two-seater, and a three-seater sofa. Frame in solid beech. Padded with duck feathers and polyether core.
Aldo Bakker, 2017
Two legs and a surface—resting seamlessly atop its base by sheer force of gravity. Aldo Bakker’s Brown Table illustrates linear continuity through its equally wide table top and leg base. Characteristic of Bakker’s work, this piece is a study in unexpected fluidity. Solid wood treated with a mocha matte lacquer finish.
Viggo Boesen, 2018
An endearing piece with a solid and embracing shape—in line with Boesen’s design philosphy, the Little Petra beckons you to stay. Originally designed in 1938, the Little Petra is back in the spotlight. Named after Boesen’s mother in law, this petite lounge chair envelops you with its deep, round shape for ultimate comfort and support. Available in a variety of fabrics, leathers, and sheepskin. Base in oak or walnut.
OeO Studio, 2016
Borrowing elements from fashion and the Bauhaus, the Coco chair is high style while employing a minimal use of materials. Simplicity of form paired with a variety of upholstery options allow the Coco to be either playful or refined. With its smooth curves and feminine appeal, this expressive chair can fit seamlessly in any interior. Powder coated steel base.
