Whether you’re looking for stylish portable lighting to accompany you on picnics, or a sophisticated addition to your backyard, patio, or poolside spaces, our collection features an expansive array of contemporary portable lighting. This week, we’re featuring five outstanding lighting designs to elevate your adventures.
Verner Panton
The iconic form of Verner Panton’s Flowerpot is now available in a portable model. In close collaboration with the Panton family, five new vibrant colors have been added for 2023: Cobalt Blue, Swim Blue, Vermilion Red, Tangy Pink, and Dark Plum. Deliberately lightweight, the portable VP9 comes equipped with a USB charging cable, bringing a cozy atmosphere to both indoor and outdoor settings.
Space Copenhagen
The portable version of Space Copenhagen’s Seine Table Lamp brings the design’s magical and atmospheric play of light to both indoor and outdoor spaces. Inspired by the behavior of light and water, it features a hand-blown glass shade with a sandblasted finish. The Portable Seine is supplied with a USB-C docking station for easy charging. The antique-brass base has been extended for optimal ergonomics, allowing it to be easily carried around and outside the home.
Sebastian Herkner
Named after the traditional Japanese pottery technique, Raku is a compact lamp with considerable presence. Drawing inspiration from the age-old art form, the lamp features a hand-sculpted ceramic base with a crackle glaze that varies slightly in each piece. Raku is easily portable with a powerful operating time of eleven hours when fully charged. The shade is available in brass or bronzed aluminum while the base offers options in Blue Green or Beige Gray ceramic.
Bill Curry
Designed in 1970, Obello’s organic form is a single piece of frosted hand-blown glass. Influenced by the visual form of a mushroom, designer Bill Curry translated the wonder and delight he saw around him into simple yet intelligent ideas. Obello provides hours of dimmable light per charge and can be easily moved between indoors and out.

Space Copenhagen
This elegant portable lamp, inspired by the golden glow of the Tuscan city of Lucca, mimics the warmth of the city’s nocturnal light. Intended as a multipurpose piece, the Lucca easily transitions from indoors to outside. The glass shade is made from mouth-blown satinized opal glass. The brass elements are deep drawn or bent then powder coated in either Black, Maroon or Moss. It can operate for up to 12 hours and is easily recharged with a USB cable.
