Milieu Magazine features our Tongue chair in their Spring 2014 issue.  Arne Jacobsen’s iconic design is featured in the color pink as a part of Milieu’s “Think Pink” article which highlights pink products that pay homage to the movie Funny Faces.

Designed in 1955 for the Munkegârd School in Denmark, the Tongue is Arne Jacobsen’s second completed chair design–following the Ant chair.  It was later placed in the rooms of the Royal Hotel in Copenhagen, where it was also modified for use as a bar stool.  The Tongue however, wasn’t available internationally until the 1980’s and even then it was only for a short while.  The Tongue chair is classic Arne Jacobsen.  It has the immediately recognizable characteristics of the organic wave form in the seat; complemented with highly sculptural splayed legs.
