JAIME HAYON

January 31, 2018

With his Spanish roots and Danish influence, Jaime Hayon is undoubtedly one of the most sought-after designers of his time. We at SUITE NY are fortunate enough to carry a number of lines that produce his signature creations. This week we would like to shine a spotlight on some of his work.
PALETTE TABLE
Jaime Hayon, 2015
Jaime Hayon created the Palette Collection after being inspired by Alexander Calder’s kinetic sculptures. Each table beautifully balances a composite of disparate sizes, shapes, colours and materials which elegantly come together in a cohesive design.
CATCH CHAIR
Jaime Hayon, 2013
Catch is a chair that welcomes you with open arms. Its armrests extend from the shell like limbs, ready to embrace you as you sit down. Serpentine lines give it a playful lightness that is counterbalanced by a sturdy, well-balanced base and legs that ensure maximum comfort.
ANALOG™
Jaime Hayon, 2014
Analog™ was designed as an authentic way of connecting with people around a table. This table is not a square, not a circle, not an oval— it is a new form that takes the best from the three classic shapes to create a new, organic form.
SAMMEN™
Jaime Hayon, 2015
Sammen™, which means “being together” in Danish, made its debut at Salone del Mobile 2015. Though fit for the dining room, this chair transforms the atmosphere at the table into a living room ambience; a shared space that promotes conversation while surrounded by good company.
LUNE SOFA
Jaime Hayon, 2017
In his quest to capture the intersection of clean Nordic aesthetics and southern elegance, Jaime Hayon has paired a playful design with Fritz Hansen’s renowned quality, resulting in the Lune Sofa. The modular system offers unlimited possibilities, from a straight two-seater to larger L-shapes, along with chaise lounge options.
