In 1996, Hollywood set designers began sourcing a unique and futuristic chair to use on the set of a new summer blockbuster: Men In Black. The chair they chose was a highly collectible mid-century design created in 1968 by a young, hot-shot Danish auto designer named Henrik Thor-Larsen. The request for six Ovalia Chairs for a scene at the MIB headquarters sparked Thor-Larsen to relaunch his iconic design, with the help of his daughter Hanne.
