Materials are the foundation of design, offering both form and feeling to a space. This week, we highlight pieces that showcase the intrinsic beauty of wood, leather, stone, metal, and textiles—each selected for its ability to bring warmth, texture, and natural elegance into interiors. From sculptural tables to supple seating, these designs celebrate the craftsmanship and character found in raw, elemental materials. |

THE VEIL |
William Storms |
The Veil is a handwoven exploration of texture, light, and material. Crafted in Brooklyn using Belgian linen, Australian lambswool, and in-house-spun bouclé yarn, this room divider weaves natural elements into a striking composition. Twin walnut dowels frame the piece, while selenite wands—each approximately 15” in length—add a sculptural rhythm, catching light in a mesmerizing interplay. Both functional and poetic, The Veil transforms spaces with its quiet elegance and tactile depth. This one-of-a-kind piece is currently on display in the SUITE NY Showroom. |
