GATHER ROUND

November 21, 2018

As the year draws to a close, we gather with our friends and family to give thanks and reflect. Whether you’re sharing this time with one person or many, the dining room becomes the central attraction. This week we bring you five of our favorite dining tables to share a meal during this occasion. Head indoors, break bread, and enjoy the holiday!
MEZCLA
Jaime Hayon, 2018
“It captures the essence of different people and diverse design elements together.”
Spanish for mixture, Mezcla, Hayon’s new dining table is characterized by a mix of contrasting materials. Available in a variety of configurations, the playful combinations of this piece speak to the core concept of Mezcla—to come together. Finishes in wood, marble, or travertine. Base in brass, chrome, or clay.
NO. ONE DINING TABLE
Aldo Bakker, 2018
Movement—one of the fundamental sources of inspiration for Dutch artist and designer, Aldo Bakker. Paired with dynamic geometry and organic form, Bakker’s No. One dining table draws you in for a seat. Fluid and minimal. Made of solid oak. Round or rectangular top available.
MOON DINING TABLE
Space Copenhagen, 2015
Inspired by the lunar phases, Space Copenhagen’s Moon table is out of this world. Crafted in a dark stained oak, the identity of the design is rooted in the moon shaped base (Full or Demi) fluted with a tambour facing. Referencing traditional Danish carpentry, the Moon finds balance between design and craftsmanship. Also available as a coffee table and an occasional table.
CB-464 GEOMETRIC DINING TABLE
Craig Bassam and Scott Fellows, 2018
There is elegance in geometry. The CB-464 Geometric Table seamlessly blends mid-century simplicity with Bauhaus elements. The first pedestal table by duo Bassam Fellows, the CB-464 features radial cut walnut veneer, a tubular steel base and leather detailing. The Geometric Series also includes a dining chair, lounge chair, and a daybed.
CENA
Peter Gaebelein and Birgit Gammerler, 2004
Meticulously sanded and smoothed with natural oils, the Cena Collection is eco-friendly, durable and versatile. The wing-like legs of the Cena, angle outward to create space for a sleek and light aesthetic. Structure in American walnut, European walnut, oak, maple, American cherry, ash, or solid beech. Available with square, rectangular, hyperelliptical, round, or oval bevelled table top.
