Last night SUITE NY hosted an event showcasing designs by five outstanding furniture brands that have one unique feature in common: they are all based in metro Copenhagen. The brands included century-old cabinetmakers Rud Rasmussen and their iconic designs by Kaare Klint, Lange Production who launched two new designs including the HB Bar Cart and JK 810 Chair, &Tradition who presented Jaime Hayon’s brand new Palette tables for the first time in the US, Engelbrechts contract furniture, and finally young up-and-coming art and design duo Pettersen & Hein. We were thrilled to welcome Magnus Pettersen of Pettersen & Hein to represent their work, as well as Nathan Weirink of Ontwerpduo who represented their Light Forest design.

We welcomed a combination of A&D clients, architects, editors, and design enthusiasts to toast Danish design and celebrate the breadth of creative minds based in Denmark’s capital city.
