On September 28th, 2016 the SUITE NY showroom hosted a cocktail party to celebrate the North American launch of “Objects” by Fritz Hansen. The new collection of home accessories and modern decorative objects is inspired by Fritz Hansen’s trademark Danish sensibility. Danish designers Wednesday Architecture, Studio Roso, and Fritz Hansen favorite Jaime Hayon contributed works to the collection, which includes candleholders, stacking trays, pillows and throws, and a not-so-typical iridescent mirror. Notable guests included Amanda Dameron, Editor & Chief of Dwell and Sofie Lindahl Jessen, President of Global Sales & Brand Management for Republic of Fritz Hansen, Bryan “Keppie” Kepple, Director of FF&E at Standard Hotels, Yaiza Armbruster of Atelier Armbruster, Mary Foley of Folex&Cox, Bella Mancini of Bella Mancini Interiors, and Mark Gould of Mark Gould Architect. The showroom was staged by SUITE NY’s Creative Director Chris Kraig to showcase iconic designs from the Fritz Hansen collection, alongside new pieces such as the VIA57 Chair by Bjarke Ingels & KiBiSi, the newly relaunched Drop Chair by Arne Jacobsen, and the collapsing side table by Willumsen & Engholm.
