FALL EQUINOX

September 20, 2017

With the Fall Equinox fast approaching, it’s time to prepare ourselves for our favorite season. This week, we’re showcasing five designs in orange, yellow and green hues reminiscent of Autumn trees.
BEETLE SOFA
GamFratesi, 2016
The Beetle Sofa invites conversation. Taking its inspiration from the Beetle Lounge Chair, the elongated Beetle Sofa plays with the contrast between the enveloping outer shell and a soft and inviting interior.
LOUIS I
Jeff Vioski, 2008
With its high, curved back, button tufting, and deep, inviting seat, the Louis I Chair combines everyday comfort with mid-century modern style. It is available with a swivel base or solid maple legs with matching ottoman. The collection includes a more petite model, the Louis II Chair, which is perfect for smaller spaces.
PEBBLES
Kate Hume
Kate Hume’s Pebbles vase is evocative of her characteristic use of bold organic shapes. With an emphasis on jewel-tone colors, the Pebbles vase is stunning when featured alone, but even more so when grouped together, allowing the play of shadows and layered colors between the forms to make a strong statement.
LL04
Maarten Van Severen, 2004
Form optimization and classic Scandinavian functionality intersect in the linear design of the LL04. Designed by acclaimed Belgian furniture designer, Maarten Van Severen, this lounger is minimalistic and organic all at once. Quality materials and detailed hand stitching work in tandem to provide a piece that is as stylish as it is comfortable.
FLOWERPOT
Verner Panton, 1969
The Flowerpot Pendant’s iconic design has withstood the test of time and remained fresh and modern to this day. While the Flower Power days are long over, the memories of peace, love, and happiness live on in this vibrant and flavorful design, created in 1969 by Verner Panton.
