| Designed by Dan Svarth, the original prototype for A Wooden Chair was first presented at Denmark’s Cabinetmakers’ Autumn Exhibition in 2001. Recently put into production this year for A. Petersen of Copenhagen, A Wooden Chair features sweeping lines in the seat and back, almost triangular rear legs, and armrests that are an exquisite study in form. Made of solid and veneered oiled Oregon Pine, this sculptural lounge chair is a remarkable presence in any space. |

| In creating the PH Chair, Poul Henningsen sought to reinvent a number of classic furniture designs that had traditionally been constructed of bent wood. Designed in 1932, the steel tube collection merges radical industrial processes with traditional craftsmanship. The futuristic nature of his design meant the chair could not be created until technology caught up in the 21st century. The chair conveys an air of minimalistic elegance and functional style.
