Formerly one half of MOKA Home Design, interior designer Monica Fried is making a major statement all on her own with her freshly launched independent practice. Having completed projects in New York City, Westchester, Connecticut and the Hamptons, Fried’s style is all about adapting to the client’s needs while delivering elegant and stylish interiors, no details spared.

Breathing modern sensibility into a classic Tudor style home, Fried’s latest project is both graceful and bold. In the kitchen, rich oak paneled walls ground the room’s centerpiece, a statement making Carrera Marble island, while Giandomenico Belotti’s Spaghetti Stools infuse a welcoming dose of playfulness. In the same serene breath, a custom banquette frames an Angelo Mangiarotti Incas table and the outdoors step in with floor to ceiling windows, enclosing the dining area.

Simple lines and subtle geometric forms define the spaces throughout this project making it both breathtaking and inviting. We can’t wait to see what’s next for this talented designer.
