Description

The cornerstone property of this new building developed by Macklowe Properties, is a duplex townhouse. The home has three bedrooms, as well as a double-height, open plan living and dining room space with studio windows and a travertine fireplace. To make the immense living room intimate, Chris Kraig created a large seating group around the central fireplace to give a feeling of a traditional inglenook in a contemporary setting. Iconic furniture of the highest pedigree was used to define an entrance hall, sitting room, dining area, family room and home office and to showcase the many facets of the house's space. The townhouse sold just three weeks after Kraig completed it, with the buyer purchasing the home furnished.
