Arne Jacobsen, 1970

OVERVIEW

The Dot™ stool was developed by Fritz Hansen in the 1950's around the sametime Arne Jacobsen created the Ant™Chair. While designing the Ant, Arne Jacobsen spent much of his time at the Fritz Hansen factory testing and refining his product.  During this process , the Dot caught his interest and he included it in his body of work. The result of the collaboration was presented to the market in 1954 as a 3-legged stool in veneer. In 1970 the stools was relaunched in the form we know today, on four legs.

  • 4-legged stool with seat in colored ash in white, light grey, dark grey, black, yellow, orange, red, petrol blue or sage green; or in walnut or beech veneer.
  • 13.4"dia 17.3"h
  • Chromed steel base.
  • GREENGUARD certified 
  • Stackable.
  • Made in Denmark by Fritz Hansen
